 "Opening Your Books"

What exactly does it mean to “open your books” to your employees? Are you talking full transparency? Do you give them the key to the owner’s file cabinet? (Here’s a hint: no.) What information DO they get to see? WHO needs to see WHAT information? How is it presented, and how do they use it? Is financial literacy training needed before showing numbers?

Simply opening the books is not a quick fix for your company’s problems. There’s definitely a right way. Get it wrong and you can cause more problems than you’ll fix.

Lots of questions. Attend this lunch seminar and get the answers:

·         Why opening the books can help your business

·         Open Book Management is a system – not just a philosophy - for running your business. Here’s how it works.

·         When and how to start educating your team on the financial aspects of your business

·         The single most important lesson your people must learn to get them to care about the organization’s success

“You can’t just open your books and expect rainbows and unicorns to come flying out.” – Jack Stack
